Brookdale-Delta Memory Care
For the past six months we have a Friday jean day where we collect donations for a local charity. This year we collected $200 for Brookdale Delta’s Alzheimer’s and Dementia Facility. Our team decided to use these donations to honor the memory of Marguerite Meiers.
Marguerite was Robert G Meiers Jr., mother, and Will Lemanski’s grandmother who passed away the day after Thanksgiving in 2020. She turned 100 years old this past July and lived in her beloved home on Grand River Road in Owosso until about a year ago when she went to live at Brookdale. She was a great support to both Bob and Will and they enjoyed a close relationship with her.
Our team was able to provide Brookdale with over 200 items that included coloring books, large print word searches, crayons, colored pencils, baby dolls and puzzles for the residents.
We are excited to see what we can do with our jean day monies this year when we are able to collect for the whole year and how we can help our community. #teammllins #jeandaymonies #community
