Personal Lines CSR/Account Manager

Full Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess strong sales, interpersonal and organizational skills. They should be comfortable with multitasking and be able to budget their time in order to meet the assigned quotas for their role. 


Build and maintain client, carrier, underwriter, business partners and your teammates relationships

Process, quotes, endorsements, certificates of insurance, renewals, cancellations and first report of claims

Clearly communicate with our clients and team members and respond to voicemail, email and client inquiries in a timely fashion

Understand and keep up to date with industry and competitive landscape knowledge

Performs other functions as assigned by management


A minimum of a year of insurance experience and a high school diploma or equivalent

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Ability to harness financial data to make informed decisions

MI Property and Casualty License

Responsible in the sale of insurance to qualified personal and business clients and prospects to reach specific goals.  Prior sales experience a plus.


  • Execute daily job responsibilities,  including responding to voice mail, emails, insurance company communications
  • Develops new business from existing clients and cross selling opportunities when possible
  • Actively contacting prospects, scheduling appointments, attending networking events, making sales presentations in order to write target clients
  • Maintaining complete and appropriately documented files
  • Providing professional, service to our clients, insurance company representatives and teammates
  • Maintaining proper procedures
  • Maintaining confidentiality regarding insurance coverage
