Look Back on 2021

Look Back on 2021

As we get ready to look in the rear view mirror of 2021 here are some fun look backs full of opportunities and disappointments just like years past with the twist of COVID.  We have been working hard and making plans for what we want to do and where we want to be.   It’s also so important to look at where we missed the mark and if and how we can change our plans or just roll with our mistakes and move on.

This year we made more time to celebrate and we had A LOT to celebrate this year from birthdays, holidays,  workiversaries and a wedding but also being back together in person as a team.  Here are just a few:

-Justin’s 4th Workiversary

-Tracy’s 5th Workiversary

-Chris’s 6th Workiversary

-Lisa’s 9th Workiversary

-Will’s 15th Workiversary

-MLL Insurance 45th Workiversary

We gathered as a group to celebrate spirit days, flannel Friday’s, as well as Justin and Ashlynn’s wedding and bridal shower. We added two new team members who compliment our core group! Our team participated in a variety of learning opportunities!  We went to conferences; we took insurance classes and we also have a newly licensed agent! Lisa had the opportunity to participate in the ACT Technology conference as a panelist and was able to create some additional professional relationships as well. Will served as the President of the Big I of Michigan’s President. As President, Will, was able to present Bob Meiers with a Presidential Citation for all his work in the insurance industry and his mentorship over the years.

We all received some awesome agency swag and as a team read “Attitude 101” to help us grow.  Our MLL Cares program donated $6,000 to 12 different local non-profits to help spread their message and to give back to our local community.  In the theme of giving back we collected over 1,000 items for Homeless Angels this holiday season which was double what we collected last year. We also adopted three refugees from Afghanistan through St. Vincent Catholic Charities and were able to provide all of their needs on their list and most of their wants. It was so fulfilling for all of us to be able to help the community in so many different ways.

The culmination and one of our proudest moments this year was being named not only a Best Practices Agency but also the only “Top Performer” in our revenue category!  We had been working hard to keep our Best Practices designation, but Top Performer was a very exciting surprise.

Last of all, Tully Buttons has become an internet sensation as our Chief Impressions Officer and has a weekly Tuesday’s with Tully Buttons post!

We wish you all nothing but the best in the new year and we look forward to working with you in 2022! #teammllins #reflection
