This month, our donation holds a very special place in our hearts.
In Memory of Tully
In January, we said goodbye to a beloved member of our agency family—Tully. Anyone who knew Tully understood the quiet joy and loyalty she brought into the world. Losing a pet is never easy, but it often reminds us of the incredible bond between humans and their animal companions. Tully came into the office every day and while she could be a bit spicy she enjoyed all the attention and treats that came her way.
Because we wanted to turn our grief into something impactful, we decided to honor Tully’s memory by supporting the place that took such good care of her.
Supporting the East Lansing Vet Clinic’s Lucky Dog Fund
We are proud to announce a $1,000 donation to the East Lansing Vet Clinic (ELVC) Lucky Dog Fund.
ELVC was Tully’s veterinary home, and their team provided compassionate care throughout her life. The Lucky Dog Fund is a vital resource that helps provide medical treatment and support for pets in need whose owners may be facing financial hardships. Dr. Rachel created this fund after her family member, Calvin.
By contributing to this fund, we hope to ensure that other families in our community can receive the life-saving care their pets deserve, just as Tully did.

Our mission with MLL Cares has always been about local impact. Whether it’s supporting youth programs, local food banks, or animal welfare, we believe that an independent agency should be a pillar of its community.
Helping other pets live long, healthy lives is the best tribute we could imagine for a dog as special as Tully.
